I cannot even reproduce it with -1.
Can you make a full test case, please?

The last character being the last in the collapsed region. I've
gone back to 6.30e which doesn't have the problem.
I'm not using org-indent-mode as that caused crashes and life has
become too short to fiddle around with CVS on 3 platforms!
