Hello fellow org:ers!

Returning to org-mode after a detour, I have switched from =auto-fill-mode= to =visual-line-mode= in my org-buffers, complemented by =visual-fill-column= to do visual line breaking at 80 characters rather than full screen which is too inconvenient. However, this also affects source blocks and tables, which ideally should never be wrapped. I have searched for a good method, but not succeeded and therefore ask here:

,---- | How to use visual line wrapping at a reasonable length of regular | org-text, but never for other text (source blocks, drawers, properties, | tables, headlines, etc)? `----

Many thanks!

TLDR: Theoretically we could do something but it would be tricky to get right. We would love to see an implementation though! I don't think there is anything available at the moment.
