There might be more than one maintainer, so that the workload is
distributed. Of course, that also requires more than one volunteer.

Is Raman not reachable by email anymore? If that's really the case,
emacspeak is GPLv3, so nothing legally stops, say, a fork. Of course,
that's the last resort. Ideally, he can confirm the new
maintainer/maintainers.
