I use mu4e and I gave up on keeping my inbox clean. Instead I flag (+)
emails I still have to process and then only search for flagged emails I
did not reply to yet. This is defined as mu4e bookmark:
("flag:flagged AND NOT flag:replied AND NOT from:MY_ADDRESS AND NOT
from:MY_OTHER_ADDRESS ..."
"TODO" 84)
I exclude my own, because I can then flag a list of emails at once
without having to worry that mine are in-between.
I only link emails from org-mode for which I know I’ll take longer than
a few days to reply. Then I need a task to avoid forgetting them.
