This will be a breaking change that will surprise users familiar with current behavior of image previews and latex previews. Note that you can always preview latex fragments in subtree by narrowing to it and toggling full preview in accessible portion of the buffer. We might consider adding a user option though. (I am skeptical about an idea to add yet another prefix argument). > P.S. I hope the upcoming LaTeX preview will work like this too.
