The problem was caused by the file/folder getting too big, and it was totalling 584.35 mbs! It was all because of git, because when I totally removed and deleted the git subfolder, the total has become 21.38 mbs. I've since deleted the git subfolder from my working projects, and they're exporting a lot quicker and safer too! I was only using git to provide a compilation date in the footer of each page, and I've decided that I don't really need it as its far easier to provide that date on the title page.
