I currently get an error [0] when attempting to clone the orgmode git repository when using the http URL: http://repo.or.cz/w/org-mode.git. However, reading some back issues of this mailing list, I tried the git protocol URL, and it worked fine.
Therefore, I suggest either figuring out why the http URL doesn't work properly, or simply referring to the git:// URL on the website, to avoid further problems in case someone would like to clone the repo.
