I am pretty sure that I have been told by someone at Elecraft that the K2 tilt bail does not fit the K3. My own solution is to fold the bail down and use a piece of 1x2 wood instead. The real long dimension of a 1x2 of course is 1 1/2" which seems the ideal height for me. Works for me, but if Elecraft indeed has one that fits I would order it next time I have something more important to order. I don't think $15 is unreasonable either. Spare parts are expensive.
