End snip I have 5 of the 8-pole filters: 2.8, 2.1, 1.8, 400 & 250. As the bands get more crowded (I.e. contest) I just tighten down the bandwidth. Of course a wider BW sounds better (especially to these old ears) but sometimes you do what you got to do. Except for the 2.8, I set the BW a little higher: I.e. 2.1 is set for 2.4; 1.8 is set for 2.1; 400 is set for 500; and the 250 is set for 300. All these filters give me the "wiggle room" and the "brick wall" as needed. 73, AE6IC, K3 2241 ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
