Hi, The weather announcements on WWV have terrible audio quality, period. Has nothing to do with the K3, nor the new SAM detector. I find SAM to work great (except the locking range is extremely small) unless I engage the "tracking" feature. When engaged, the display frequency starts hunting and there is a definite wavering in the audio. Some work still needed, it appears.
