I ran into this as well. It was a bit tricky but here is what worked: Writelog as DVK Cable from headphone out of soundboard to the line in jack on back of K3
Now the tricky part: Select LINE IN as input first! Then set the gain as you would a mike gain, otherwise the K3 sees zero input from the line in! Select mike Front panel, go to next menu option and select Mike + line It worked great!
