Everyone's setups are different but .............
I feed the K-2 with KPA-100 and KAT-100 with two supplies for my own
reasons. A ten amp switching supply powers all my qrp stuff. No fancy
Anderson power poles stuff for me. Just a Altoids tin with 8 RCA jack thing
I go from All Electronics. All the plusses and minuses in the Altoids tin
are tied together and one jack is used as DC in and 7 are used as DC out,
works for me. So, from there I feed to the K-2 2.1 input jack and another
lead to the KAT-100 2.1 input jack. Now you could make up a special cable
with one RCA on one end for the Altoids box and solder it with genuine lead
solder into a Y with two 2.1 barrel plugs for the tuner and K-2 but I didn't
do that :-) ! I have another WHOPPING RS-35M Astron supply and feed from a
plain old 12 screw barrier strip to the KPA-100 and that way for operating
QRP I just turn off the RS-35M and soon the K-2 display says " no KPA power
supply " or something like that and it reverts to a qrp radio. The K-2 and
tuner keep right on operating :-)
Works for me ..............

Subject: [Elecraft] Test KPA100 with one power supply???
I was wondering it possible to test the KPA100 option with one power
supply,
but with two separate power cables. I have a distribution box with
Anderson
Power Poles. So two power cables is easily possible. My power supply can
handle 25 amps.
I guess I could use two separate power supplies if absolutely necessary.
