Van, You are correct. The front phones jack is a 1/4-in plug and the phones on the back panel is 1/8-in.
Another interesting feature is that you can plug headphones into both jacks at the same time. So when contesting, if you want to have an additional set of ears listening you can. 73 and thanks.
