Jeff, If the PLL/VCO works, in all likelyhood, the thermistor board is functioning. If one wants to know how well it is working, drift measurements would have to be made after the K2 is assembled and tested in all other aspects. Making drift measurements is a tedious endeavor and to assure good measurements should be done in an environmental chamber. Experimental Methods in RF Design has a nice article showing how to make a small environmental chamber from a picnic cooler and a light bulb.
