I am not even impressed with artificial 'intelligence' so far. The other day, Microsoft Copilot made an addition mistake in an equation I had asked for, and when I pointed out the error it simply said, "Oh, you're right! I won't make that mistake again." But then, another time it gave me the correct answer but to test its confidence I again challenged its accuracy. And again it said, "Oh, you're right! I won't make that mistake again." So you can neither trust it when it's wrong nor trust it when it's correct.
When we sat through Copilot training at work, the Microsoft guy actually told us that we will get better results if we use the word 'please' in our prompt. He was serious, not joking. What I've seen so far definitely doesn't impress me, and I'll be darned if I'm going to go out of my way to say 'please' to a machine.
