Oh, hm, maybe I'm thinking of WSPR or another mode; I know one of them was
30 seconds on, 30 seconds off.

In any case, though, modes that modulate at 100% duty cycle during the
transmit portion are still going to get the rig hotter than CW will.

But, yes, agree, just get a heatsink. Worst case, your finals are extra
comfy.
