I can normally get 4 hours or so operating my K3 at 100 watts, doing (rapid 
fire "contest style") SSB POTA activations with 20 Ah Bioenno batteries.

A 20Ah LiFePO4 battery will go a long while, especially if you power the
radio from it's internal battery pack, and especially if you don't CQ a
lot. One of the KX3's many strengths is that it is very miserly of
current draw on receive.
