Thanks Dale. I tried that - checked continuity on the cable itself, tore the KXPA100 apart and checked inbound continuity, everything... Still the same thing. I noticed in the brief window when the KX3 sees it, right after switching PAMode, if I hit the tune button I get an error "ATU Not Present" so I'm suspicious more is happening. I gave up - Field Day at 15 watts isn't a whole lotta fun (and I had limited time to play anyhow).
I'll dig into it more and eventually reach out to Elecraft for support. Bummer!
