Hi John,

My KX3/KXPA100 has experienced the same symptom. The problem ended up being
that the short CAT6 cable with the RJ45 connectors on each end was not
making a good connection at the PA end. The small plastic 'locking tab' on
the RJ45 connector had been accidentally broken off (by me) long ago, and
for years the connector had enough friction to remain seated in the PA.
Until one day it didn't. I replaced the cable with a short cable I had
lying around, and it has been fine ever since.

Best of luck troubleshooting.
