?? according to the schematics I have, R5 is a 3.3 Ohm resistor in the
RF feedback path. The only 100 Ohm resistors are R20, R25 and R27 in
the T/R switch. It sounds like you meant R25 as a failure there would
prevent the receive (bypass) path from turning on.

you are right, sort of. There are 2 different schematics on the elecraft
support site.
