Good Evening,

Both bands were productive.  There was little QSB on twenty meters.  It showed up later on 40 meters.  I turned off VOX before the second net to loosen up my fingers.  When I pressed it again I did not turn VOX back on.  I found out when no one answered any of my calls :(  The red, normally blinking, light was out of my sight line.  I checked antennas, coax connections, and scratched my head.  Then I saw the non-blinking light.  Once I turned VOX back on folks could hear me.  Then I worked Idaho, Kentucky, Arizona, and California.  QSB came in two varieties: slow and a flutter. Signal reports were S5 to S8 or S4 to S9.  Noise was moderate on twenty meters but as I started the second net the noise rose.
