Hi Mike (K4PI), I recall a bracket like the one you described from my recent addition of the KPA3A 100 watt PA module to my much older K3/10. I don't find mention of it in the KPA3A manual, but my recollection is that it was installed on the rear panel of the K3 to stabilize/hold down the KPA3A module PCB. If I get time later today I'll open up my K3 and see if it is visible.
