It is doubtful that will work if the K3 has been set to factory defaults by EEINIT.

Open the K3 Utility and click on Calibration.  Scroll down to Configure Crystal Filters.  The top line shows the various bandwidths of the installed filters.  You can see the big picture there with the checked boxes.
