Hi Paul, It does sound as though the slug-tuned inductors on the 20 meter and 15 meter sections of the Filter board need tweaking. As you noted, one must remove the KAT1 ATU board from the Filter board to access those coils. It is necessary to jumper pins 2 and 10 of J2 on the Filter board to route RF to the antenna connector. Once you've done that you can proceed with the alignment as described in the manual.
