I'd suggest you figure out the chipset used in the iMic, then go to the chipset manufacturer's web site and download the drivers for Win7. Usually, this is the Best Way(tm).
I recently updated this machine to Win7-64, and had to dig drivers out from under a lot of rocks. For integrated devices, the Samsung web support page was helpful. But for outboard, you'd want to address the issue with the manufacturer of the external devices. Generally, this comes down to the chipset used. The iMic manufacturer should have a handle on this too, but I suspect that's the first place you looked. Win7-32 and -64 have been around long enough now that locating drivers and support software / utilities should be do-able, albeit a pain in the neck sometimes. 73, matt W6NIA On Wed, 12 Jun 2013 20:57:56 -0700, you wrote: >I'm sure that this has come up before so please bear with me. > >In setting up my new Win7 computer I find that my iMic USB soundcard >device is not compatible.
