I have wondered the same thing since I built mine, still haven't used it yet as mine was an "F" unit and not very old.

If I were to turn it off after the eight hours and turn it on later for the actual extended calibration procedure, is there any required warmup? The documentation for the procedure didn't seem clear on that.
