I can second that. The Edgeport series are referred to as "converters"
rather than "adapters", and I believe there is a real difference. The
Edgeport converters have been used in commercial applications while most
adapters are destined for the consumer market.
My Edgeport 4 is one of the few adapters that will work reliably at the
slower data rate required by the K2. Most others do not like to run at
that slow speed, although I have just tried a Keyspan adapter with a K2
that worked just fine.
