Hello all: I was wondering if anyone has ever detached the faceplate of a K2? I'm considering using this rig for pedestrian mobile, and I think it would be really neat to have the ability to have the rig in a backpack, and the controls in a fanny pack, as in the ICOM 706. Any ideas?
