Zack and All, I think you may already have had sufficent confirmation to alleviate your concerns, but I'll add mine just for grins.
The KPA500 works beautifully on 120 volts--at least on the rather modest circuit I have it connected to--a 20 amp circuit. That's not what I would prefer, but it's what I have! I can tell you that a couple of other medium power amps don't like this particular hook-up I have, but the KPA500 is apparently extremely efficient. I've had absolutely not circuit breaker issues at all, which has been a problem with other amps. In fact, although I don't run it this hard, I've had it up over 600 watts out, and no problems at that level either. The output is real too, as I have measured it independently from what the amp shows. I hesitate to be too absolute about my conclusion, mainly because I don't know exactly what kind of circuit you have available. However, if it's anything reasonable, I doubt you will have a problem. You'll have to evaluate whether or not you have too many other things hanging off the same circuit. Dave W7AQK ======= Email scanned by PC Tools - No viruses or spyware found.
