What we have how is already a decent solution for broken notifiers. Just
click on the "Video Preview" (icon of a web cam, or from the View menu),
then click the answer button. Only two clicks to answer the phone. If
notifiers do work, then only one click is required.

It is amazing that such a seemingly simple service like notifiers would
be so commonly broken.
