Thank you. I couldn't find any telnet access and in looking at its configuration backup I don't recognize the kind of file at all. Among the binary code in the file, some of the earliest strings are,
THENC CANT-2BT Home Hub 2.0A 8.1.H.U (so, model number, firmware version), but that's about as good as it gets. Still, it was a very good idea to look - it was worth a try! Perhaps it has a header and then is compressed after around the first 256 bytes, though not in a way I've yet unravelled. Some googling suggests that it's a Thompson TG797N with the telnet disabled, although one can still get in via JTAG and reenable it. http://www.psidoc.com/showthread.php/7-How-to-hack-or-unlock-your-home-hub-2.0A-via-software. described how to flash it with hacked firmware but hopefully I can avoid having to do that. -- Mark _______________________________________________ ekiga-list mailing list ekiga-list@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/ekiga-list
