I've just installed edubuntu 6.10 on an old PII 266 laptop (Toshiba Tecra). It doesn't seem to recognize the native resolution of my LCD (1024x768), and installed with a default resolution of 640x480(!). I have looked all over, but can't for the life of me figure out how to reset it to the highest resolution. Yes, I found the system control program which supposedly performs this function, but it doesn't offer me any choice other than 640x480.
