Yeah. Finding some place in the middle where everyone can fairly easy meet is probably a good idea. :) > Are you on an AMD64 machine ? On an x86, at least with Ubuntu (this > machine I'm typing on) my CPU load is more like 1-7%, and memory > utilization stays under 10% for me. This was using x86 with Debian-Edu and the gnash packages in debian/sid. I've heard others complain about the same thing, so I thought it was the norm and not an exception. If you want to give the debian-edu install a go, rsync ftp.skolelinux.no::skolelinux-etch-test/debian-edu-i386-binary-1.raw, install the standalone profile and start firefox to test it. Our test pages are available from <URL:http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/FlashInDebianEdu>. My favorite test page is the stick fight. :) Friendly, -- Petter Reinholdtsen -- edubuntu-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/edubuntu-devel
