Well, the gnash project's already there, if your requirement is, "We'd like gnash to be good enough to play videos from google/youtube, plus the following flash applets", then I'd say the thing to do is: 1) Contact the gnash project with these requirements, and 2) Tell them how much money/resources you'd be willing to dedicate to the cause.
