There are EDISIM and two other products in this space. Only EDISIM can process the documents and create an IG from them. What you're missing is the components that provide that feature also work on their own - VALIDATOR is a great product to check validity of a document, you have a soft version of the standard, a generated SEF, standards editor and doc builder. You have at your fingertips standards from 2001 to 6030, not to mention all of the sub groups like VICS and UCS. And EDIFACT.
Time to read a gig of docs and generate an IG? Less than an hour. Time to do it manually and type an IG in WORD? longer. Much longer. You may think the software is expensive - but so is the alternate, measured in many hours of your time. Check the archives again, we've had this discussion many times.
