Lab Manager position in the Becklin Lab at Syracuse University Position Summary: The Becklin Lab studies the physiology, ecology, and evolution of species interactions and their responses to global change using mycorrhizal associations as a model system. We are looking to hire a motivated, creative, and collaborative lab manager to keep the lab running smoothly, conduct field and controlled environment experiments, and supervise undergraduate student researchers. We use a variety of experimental, isotopic, molecular, and modeling approaches to gain insights into mechanisms contributing to variation in mycorrhizal associations and their role in eco-evolutionary dynamics. Thus, we are searching for a candidate with expertise (or the willingness to gain expertise) in multiple aspects of biology, including plant physiology and ecology, soil and/or fungal ecology, molecular biology, and global change biology.
