The abstract deadline for the 8th North American Echinoderm Conference is
Friday, April 7th. Despite its name, the conference welcomes researchers
from any continent and we look forward to seeing you this summer. The
conference will be held July 9-13, 2017 on the campus of the College of the
Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, located in the heart of New England,
with convenient access to various after-conference travel opportunities.
The conference will honor Drs. John and Vicki Pearse for their contributions
to echinoderm biology and their legacies of nurturing the careers of young
researchers. Plenary speakers include Drs. Dave Pawson, Jim McClintock, Sid
Bosch, and Ben Miner. A mid-week excursion to the Harvard Museum of
Comparative Zoology to view their echinoderm collections is planned. More
information can be found at http://naec2017.holycross.edu. The conference
Co-hosts are Justin McAlister ([email protected]) and Roberta Challener
([email protected]) and they are happy to answer any questions.
