*Gordon Research Seminar: Unifying Ecology Across Scales* Conference Dates and Location: 23-24 July 2016, Biddeford, ME *https://www.grc.org/programs.aspx?id=15150* <https://www.grc.org/programs.aspx?id=15150> (The associated Gordon Research Conference takes place 24-29 July)
Meeting Description: The focus of this meeting is to bring together early career ecologists working across traditional disciplinary boundaries to discuss theory that links the scales of biological organization. The meeting will include opportunities for training and practice in team science and we particularly encourage applications from graduate students and post-doctoral researchers who are interested in cross-disciplinary approaches to understanding the consequences of climate change, land use/land cover change, nutrient pollution, and biodiversity loss and the functioning of human-managed systems and landscapes. Abstract submission is open and acceptances will begin the 2nd week in February. Get your abstracts in early for consideration for giving a talk or leading a discussion. Feel free to forward to others you think would be interested!
