Dear All, I was planning to use iButtons Hygrochron Temperature/Humidity data loggers (DS1923) in semi deciduous forests of Ghana but was told by the iButton distributor that they might get damaged if used in condensing environments so that a lot of data will be lost. I would be interested in a second opinion on the use of iButtons in tropical regions where relative humidity is high. I would appreciate if you could provide any information about the successful or unsuccessful use of iButtons in tropical regions together with a range of relative humidity that you used them in.
Many thanks for a second opinion on this, Wilma Blaser ……… ETH Zurich Dr. Wilma Blaser Postdoctoral Fellow Sustainable Agroecosystems Tannenstrasse 1 / TAN F3 8092 Zürich, Switzerland
