I was asked many times how did I do field work in a tiger reserve with a toddler. I have been meaning to write this up for mothers who are in grad school or new postdocs. I finally wrote my experiences and my suggestions in this blogpost after a graduate student friend from India wrote to me asking what are my suggestions to her especially because there is not a whole lot of examples of women doing graduate studies in field biology.
