Job description: We are hiring 1 field technician who can conduct avian point count at Ft. Gordon and several counties near Ft. Gordon. Applicant should have a god skill of identifying birds by sound and by sight, bu mainly by sound. We attach a list of species (recorded as 4-letter alpha code) detected during our survey last year. If you can identify at least 80% of the species by sound, youre qualified for the position. Point count experience is not necessary. The position need to be filled ASAP.
