Hello, I've created a website called justbetweenseasonals.com for seasonal and temporary workers in the natural resource industry to comment on their time working at a State, District, or Field office in the BLM, USFS, NPS, and other private natural resource companies.
Many offices are located in remote or small towns and these towns can be very difficult for an outsider to find out relevant information on them. My hopes are that this website will help seasonal workers and field technicians learn more about their potential job location from past workers. Currently I am beta testing for the pages on the United States Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management. If you have worked at any of these offices in the past please go to my website: http://www.justbetweenseasonals.com/ click 'Job Reviews' and find your office and comment on your time there. Helpful things to mention include: -Availability and Quality of Housing -General eco-zone of the surrounding area -Best method of finding alternative housing -Local must-see attractions, festivals, and cuisine -Recommended car mechanics, Doctors, or other service provider -Feel of the office (i.e. what natural resource issue(s) keeps the office busy? Please do not mention hateful or damaging remarks against any employee) Please let me know of any comments or suggestions you might have on the layout, content, or resources for justbetweenseasonals.com at my email [email protected] Thank you! Meg
