[ECOLOG-L] Funding Suggetions for PhD

I am currently looking at PhD programs in the UK and finding funding is hard
for a US student. I am looking for any suggestions on where to go to get
funding for a PhD project.  I am interested in doing ecotoxicology work and
looking at anthropogenic toxin accumulations and there trophic transferring.
 Any suggestions on funding opportunities would be greatly appreciated.
