Dear Shelly,

I recommend "Taking Sides: Clashing Views on Environmental Issues."
I have also used "Honor in Science" published by Sigma Xi to discuss ethical
issues.

Good Luck!

Subject: [ECOLOG-L] BioEthics textbook

Hi Colleagues,
I'll be teaching a science & ethics class in the spring and am looking for
suggestions for a good textbook. This is a senior undergrad course focused
on reading and discussion.

I have two books I am currently examining:
Taking Sides: Clashing Views on Bioethical Issues ed. by Carol Levine
Bioethics beyond the headlines by Albert Jonsen

These books focus on the med side of science. Any suggestion for other
books?
-more on med side
-also any on other areas of science... like ecology, etc.

Thanks!
Shelly
