The School of Biological Sciences at UEA is consistently rated to be =20
one of the best academic communities of its kind in the UK for both =20
research and teaching. We invite applications for the post of =20
Lecturer in Biodiversity, tenable from 1 September 2007. Applicants =20
must have a strong publication record and the ability or potential to =20=

lead a research group funded by competitive, external research grant =20
funding, as well as to teach undergraduate and postgraduate (Ph.D. =20
and M.Sc.) students. Biodiversity is to be interpreted in its =20
broadest sense, potentially encompassing (without being restricted =20
to) behavioural ecology, comparative and phylogenetic studies, =20
conservation biology, evolutionary biology, molecular ecology, and =20
population biology. To complement the School's existing research =20
strengths, applicants with an interdisciplinary research outlook, and =20=

especially those with a strong interest in molecular, behavioural, =20
genetic or evolutionary approaches, will be at an advantage.
