I've heard "sustainable" applied to all sorts of=20
things. If it's to be anything other than a=20
buzzword to spin almost any bit of fluff into=20
raiments for someone who wants to be "king,"=20
shouldn't it have a single definition that=20
distinguishes its substance from its careless=20
application to, for example, "biofuel" that has a=20
net energy loss to native plants that need no subsidy at all?

Seems a simple definition of just what principle=20
defines it would bring more clarity and less=20
confusion to the issues to which it may be attached, no?
