Dear all, registrations are open for the 2nd edition of the Physalia online course “Functional Trait Space Analyses in R”, scheduled for 8-10 September. This course provides an in-depth theoretical and practical introduction to functional trait space analyses, a key approach in trait-based ecology to explore the diversity of organismal form and function across the tree of life. Course website: [ https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/functional-trait-space-analyses-in-r/ ]( https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/functional-trait-space-analyses-in-r/ )
This course is designed for PhD students, postdocs, and researchers interested in functional traits, functional diversity, and multivariate analyses. A basic familiarity with R is recommended to facilitate the practical sessions. All course materials, including slides and scripts, will be provided and explained in detail. By the end of this course, participants will: Gain an overview of the theory and methods behind trait space analyses. Learn to build and interpret functional trait spaces. Understand how to link trait spaces to other ecological dimensions. Develop skills to plot and export analytical results. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
