Are you looking to break into the field of conservation, but don’t know where to start? Consider spending your summer in beautiful New Hampshire and joining the Lakes Region Conservation Corps (LRCC), an AmeriCorps service program that develops skills and experiences for the next generation of conservation professionals. LRCC members are the driving force behind many of the conservation efforts of New Hampshire's Lakes Region. The LRCC is seeking a Quarter Term AmeriCorps starting in the Spring and ending in the Fall. Host Site: Squam Lakes Association Holderness, NH The Squam Lakes Association (SLA) is a non-profit conservation organization that works to conserve the natural beauty, peaceful character and resources of the Squam watershed. Through conservation, education and low-impact recreation, the SLA promotes the protection, careful use and shared enjoyment of the Squam Lakes Region.
