I acknowledge the inherent sovereignty of Haudenosaunee nations, which is affirmed by the 1794 Treaty of Canandaigua between the United States Government and the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. I recognize Haudenosaunee collective and individual survivance constitutes enduring resistance to colonial power relationships in the United States that have disrupted Indigenous connections to land and that continue to influence the experiences of Indigenous people. Today, this region is still the home to the Haudenosaunee people, and I am grateful for the opportunity to live, work, and share ideas here. I pay my respect to Haudenosaunee elders past, present, and future. To unsubscribe from this list please go to https://community.esa.org/confirm/?u=RhPWqPxFwODKvbkiT32nkIqRrsiSgulp
