Good Day Ecolog Folks! We are excited to offer a 2-year term position in the Monitoring Program within the Science and Data Division at the Colorado State Forest Service. This position will see the selected applicant lead a field crew of 2-3 people across the State of Colorado, establishing monitoring plots within projects associated with the Forest Restoration and Wildfire Risk Mitigation (FRWRM) grant program (administered by the CSFS). This position is currently limited to 2-years, but we are actively seeking funding to secure this position permanently within the CSFS. This position, based out of Fort Collins, CO, will work across the state to provide field-data that bolsters the adaptive management framework within Colorado forest management. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to take part in emerging research surrounding drone use in forest measurements among other projects.
